In honour of Record Store Day we've asked L U C Y to delve into her record collection and pick 5 of her favourite vinyls that have inspired the up and coming DJ.

PIECES OF A MAN - GIL SCOTT HERON

L U C Y: I’ve been re listening to this LP a lot lately as it was recently his 70th birthday and I’ve just finished reading his book, the lyricism is untouched and everything he says still has perfect relevance.

6 TRACK EP - PRO-ONE RECORDS

An amazing hardcore record from 1993 that was a lucky find recently, best song is Hopa & Bay B Kane - Hoppa.

HORACE ANDY - MONEY, THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL

One of my favourite songs was gassed to find it on vinyl.

JAMES BLAKE - BELLS SKETCH

The best kind of weird experimental James Blake

SADE - WHEN AM I GOING TO MAKE A LIVING

Rinsed this record too many times, good to play if you’re broke and/or making food.
